Razer, the world’s leading lifestyle brand for gamers, brings together in Manila representatives of 8 national sports federations involved in the development of eSports in their country, as well as video game publishers and partners in preparation for the Southeast Asian Games 2019, in which for the first time eSports will not only be a demonstration discipline, but an official one. The purpose of the meeting is to define details of the event such as structure and regulation of tournaments, guidelines for streaming and television broadcasting, marketing initiatives and partnerships, as well as future initiatives, once the Games have ended, which will take place from 30 November to 11 December 2019. For the first time in history, eSports will enter the medal collection.
