Discover, a well-known credit card brand, officially enters the export business as a sponsor of the Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) East of Boston
The agreement is limited exclusively to this weekend, but makes Discover the third largest credit card brand in the United States to have sponsored an export event, following Mastercard’s long-term global deal with Riot Games from 2018 and Visa contract 2017 with SK Gaming.
Under the conditions of the partnership, advertising time will be transmitted during the Twitch flows from the event.
Twitch Sr. Dir./ Global Sponsor Nathan Lindberg, who sold the deal, said that PAX East is a good platform to introduce new brands to exports and allow them to “create credibility in space in the right way”.
