Overwatch Contenders presents and prepares the long-awaited world finals scheduled in China and Germany in the coming months
The Pacific Showdown will be held May 24-26 in Shanghai, China, while the Atlantic Showdown will be held in Krefeld, Germany, from May 31st to June 2nd.
The best teams from the eight regions of the Overwatch Contenders will face each other. Events will be played live during Overwatch League breaks to maximize opportunities for discovering new talent.
Four regions will send their best teams to the Atlantic Showdown, while the other four will do the same with the Pacific Showdown. These events will be held during the Overwatch League mid-season break to maximize the number of spectators and allow Overwatch League scouts to discover new players.
In the Overwatch Contenders of Europe there are also the Italian Samsung Morning Stars who recently found the playoff qualification. Should they win the first or second place finish, they will face the two best teams in North America and South America in a double elimination challenge on May 31 and June 2 in Krefeld.
