Monster Energy, the well-known energy drink brand and National Student Esports (NSE), a UK-based university dedicated to exporting, establish a new partnership
Monster Energy and the National Student Esports (NSE) will be partners in the British University Esports Championship next season, the university videogames championship that includes Counter-Strike tournaments: Global Offensive, Dota 2, FIFA 19, Hearthstone, League of Legends, Overwatch and Rocket League.
The energy drink will also be present at the NSE spring and winter finals, The British University Esports Championship was launched in October last year as a large-scale competition for students representing their university through a series of titles. In its inaugural season, the championship saw the participation of almost 700 teams from 80 institutions in all seven titles of the program. At the end of the year, the university that has accumulated the most points during the season is crowned “University of the year”.
