Riot Games has announced Warner Music and Tchibo as new sponsors for the European League of Legends (LEC) championship.
Warner Music as well as being the official music partner for the LEC Summer Split, will provide music during game breaks and will contribute entertainment experiences to live events. Furthermore, he is already working on a new set of content for the LEC.
The German retailer Tchibo, on the other hand, is known for both coffee and a vast assortment of consumer goods, it is the first national LEC partner for the DACH region (including Germany, Austria and Switzerland). Tchibo will sponsor the pre-show of the German television partner Summoner’s Inn and will supply coffee to the LEC studio
Riot’s post on the news suggests that more LEC sponsorship announcements are on the way. Current LEC sponsors include Red Bull, Kia, Shell, Beko, Foot Locker, Logitech G and DXRacer. Alienware is also the official PC and display partner for the LEC and the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) of North America, while Riot Games has a sponsorship of multi-year events with MasterCard.
