For the second year, The O2 in London will host the finals of the FIFA eWorld Cup of the 2019 edition of the famous series of soccer video games, from the 2nd to the 4th of August.
The best 32 FIFA 19 players in the world compete against each other and the finalists will be selected in the FIFA 19 Global Series Playoffs, which will end on July 14th. The location does not change, but the prize money does, increasing compared to last year: up for grabs a total of 500 thousand dollars distributed among the competitors. In addition, the US broadcaster Fox Sports has acquired US broadcast and streaming rights for the upcoming FIFA eWorld Cup, as well as other FIFA eSports competitions.
The tournament will also be available for streaming via the Fox Sports app. Live-streaming platform, Caffeine, on which Fox invested 100 million dollars last September, will also show the events of eWorld Cup and FIFA 19 Global Series.
