Parimatch, the international betting bookmaker, has become a new partner for Omega League, the eSport competition dedicated to the Dota 2 video game.
The tournament is organized by WePlay! Esports and Epic Esports Events and the matches will take place online.
Several teams from Asia, Europe and the Americas will take part in this event and compete for a combined prize pool of $ 650,000 (£ 496,590).
The grand finale and the award of the title is scheduled for September 6.
It is not the first time that a betting partner has participated in a global competition.
This means that esports betting sites, also thanks to the Covid19 pandemic has had a significant increase on the revenue.
According to the agreements, Parimatch will receive the brand’s signage on the Russian and Portuguese live streaming of the event.
ESforce Holding’s RuHub studio broadcast group will provide Russian coverage of the event, while the Brazilian division of Beyond the Summit will manage the Portuguese flow.
