North American esports organisation TSM has renewed and extended its ongoing technology partnership with Lenovo.
As part of the partnership, Lenovo Legion continues as the exclusive PC partner of TSM’s teams and organization, named TSM for competing in Riot Games titles and TSM FTX for all other games, respectively. Lenovo is also now the exclusive provider of monitors for TSM.
TSM is building a gaming lounge inside the organisation’s Los Angeles facility called Lenovo Legion Lounge. As the name suggests, Lenovo will outfit the lounge with hardware.
Andy Dinh, Founder and CEO of TSM said:
“We are thrilled to continue our strong alliance with Lenovo. With their top-of-the-line hardware, our players are able to achieve even better results and perform at the very peak of excellence. We have created a best-in-class player development and training program to ensure our players have the most innovative tools at their fingertips. Lenovo is at the core of this program, and we are excited about our future together.”
Per a release, both organizations will work together on a variety of to-be-announced initiatives, including custom content creation, fan activations, giveaways, and other initiatives over the coming year.
TSM and Lenovo stressed that they will continue diversity and inclusion programs with a focus on women in gaming. Thus far in 2021, several Lenovo employees have lead Q&A panels for TSMU, the collegiate community program that TSM debuted on Discord earlier this year.
Carl Pinto, Vice President and North America Chief Operating Officer for Lenovo added:
“TSM is one of the most recognizable brands in esports and Lenovo is excited to continue our partnership with them.”
By partnering with such a prestigious organization that not only excels in competition, but who also champions diversity and inclusion, together we can continue to provide the gaming hardware, entertainment, and content that consumers crave, while supporting the effort to make esports inclusive and welcoming to all.”
